WHY will release their first live album Friday JUNE 19. The album was recorded (unknowingly by the band) April 17 2026 at SIDESTAGE in Winnipeg.
The sound engineer Kristopher Chorneychuk AKA:”Another Soundguy” at SIDESTAGE was testing out some live recording equipment and recorded the set.
Then told the band the next day and the recording caught a raw honest performance. “I was blown away by the raw energy…” according to singer Brian Cook, “I think if we knew it was being recorded, we would have been too self-conscious“.
The Album Will Be On All Music Platforms Friday JUNE 19.
